Holy cow. These Bonus Rounds are winding down fast--we're now at our final bonus round! Bonus Round 6 is all about recommending other team's entries! These recs can be from either main rounds or bonus rounds, but they cannot be from our team. Check for further details on the post itself. This will be the last bonus round, so we need to contribute as much as possible!! I have gotten so behind on updating this community. I really, really apologize. I've been busy with various things for the past few weeks between coding the collab entry, band camp, school, and day-to-day life outside of the computer in general. This isn't really an excuse, but needless to say I've been pretty fatigued, and that has resulted in me neglecting community updates. However, now that HSO is finally coming to an end, I will try my best to change that.

With that being said, onto better news!

Within the last few days, multiple announcements have come out, and they're pretty good for our team!

1. Our R2 entry got THIRTEENTH PLACE overall! That's great!! Congratulations to everyone who contributed to that entry.
2. Our R3 entry made it to phase two of voting! That means we had a streak of reaching phase two in every main round. That is AMAZING. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
3. Possibly the biggest news of all: we currently stand at 13th PLACE overall out of 121 TEAMS. Holy cow, that's outstanding! For most people, 13 seems to be an unlucky number, but it has really done some good things for our team so far! Everyone has worked hard, and it has done good things for us. Congratulations again!

All of these things are great. However, with all of the main rounds done, all of the teams are now going to be focusing on the bonus rounds. Luckily, the bonus rounds are not competitive, and rather a matter of filling all of the number of entries required for maximum points. If we fill and prompt all that we can, we will keep our rank, or maybe even go up! To protect our standing, we need to reach the quota.

Bonus Round 5 has been released. For this round, points will not be given for prompts, but you should still provide some for other teams! The scoring will be as such:

First 5 entries in each post: 30 (per entry)
Entries 6-10 in each post: 20 (per entry)
Entries 11-15 in each post: 10 (per entry)
Entries 16+ in each post: 5 (per entry)

This means we need to at least get 16 fills done, and hopefully even more! With that being said, on this post, I will archive all of the fills put together, and any fills done regarding Dave and Karkat in case you would want to view them. When you submit a fill, please comment on this post with the links! It's difficult to keep track of all of them when the thread is updating so quickly.

To aid in getting our collab round entry started as soon as possible, this Saturday and Sunday, July 7th and 8th, we are going to be having another group meeting to get the character roles and main plot points decided for our entry. This way, we can quickly begin on concept art, and then sprites from there. Remember, we only have until August 4th to complete and submit our entry, so we need to get this done! The meeting with last however long it takes, all day for both. Most likely, the concept art will be divided up and assigned to be completed within the next two to three days afterwards, so artists, make sure you're there as well to get your assignment in! Thanks everyone.

As a team, we need to discuss our plans for the collaboration entry. A lot of us have already discussed ideas in the Skype chat, but we need to discuss it officially as a team. We only have a little over a month to get it done, and for the big ideas we would like to pull off, we are going to have to start scheduling deadlines as soon as possible to keep everyone on task. Therefore, I would like to make this weekend the official "collab discussion" weekend.

I know that we all live in different time zones, so it's hard to pick a certain time frame to discuss together. Please, try to log onto Skype at least once so we can all discuss and keep up with each other. Though it is recommended you come to discuss for as long as you can, it's understandable if you cannot stay for very long.

On Monday, I will update the collaboration post with whatever idea we came up with. If you do not show up, you will have to contact me, get on Skype, or post a comment on the collab entry to explain what role you would like to play, and so on. Most likely, everyone will have an assignment for the entry, so we absolutely need everyone to respond! If you do not respond by Monday, I will contact you personally to discuss the reason why you have not. If you know you will be busy this weekend, please contact me in advance.

Hey, everyone! As the HSO admins have pointed out to me, I have yet to decide upon a vice-palhoncho. The VP would mainly be there in case something happened and I couldn't take care of the team. As far as I can tell right now, I should be fine for the entire competition, seeing as I'm already out of school for the summer and my next obligation isn't until the very last week of July, but things happen! So, to put it simply, I'm asking right now if anyone would like to volunteer for the position of vice-palhoncho.

I won't require any specific requirements seeing as I didn't need them to get to Palhoncho, but if you are going to sign up, make sure that you will be available to take care of the team if something would happen and I would have to step down from my Palhoncho position. You would have to take over!

If multiple people decide to volunteer, that's fine! However, I only need one VP. I will trust you to sort it out amongst yourselves, and if you can't, I will pick one of you. Thanks!
